Climate
Rodalquilar's geographical coordinates are 2:08 West of Greenwich
and 36:40 North of the equator, on the same degree of latitude
as Algiers, which lies on the opposite side of the Mediterranean
Sea on the African Coast.
Accordingly, the summers are hot. Bathing is pleasant until
late fall, athletically inclined people even swim in the sea
on Christmas or New Year's Eve.
The Andalusian spring begins around the end of January with
the almond blossom. During this time, a swim in the sea and
a snowball fight on the Calar Alto, 2100m above sea level,
are only a one hour drive apart.
